October 25th marked the first charter flight out of Evansville!
Thank you to all who invited us to come down to lend a hand.
The trip was amazing, not a single band aid used, beautful weather and we returned each Veteran safe and sound and on time as promised. The first ever charter our of EVV was an incredible success! Thank you Evansville Indiana for helping us Honor our Hoosier Heroes in your area! - Worked so much better than bringing them all the way up to Indy as we have in the past. The veterans involved were blown away by the love and gratitude shown throughout the entire weekend.
Our next flight out of Indy is Saturday, November 8th.
We will be returning to the Plainfield High School between 9:00 and 9:30pm.
Watch here for EVV pictures (10/25/14) soon.

Indy Honor Flight is a non-profit organization created solely to honor Indiana's veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those veterans who may be terminally ill.
Of all of the wars in recent memory, it was World War II that truly threatened our very existence as a nation — and as a culturally diverse, free society. Now, with over 900 World War II veterans dying each day, our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out.
